Christmas is on its way and as usual, we need to find ideas for gifts. Temptation is everywhere and kids just want it all. They are so many games on the market, but do kids really play with all of them. Every year, my 3 boys always have great ideas. Games that look so good on TV but once at home ... they play with it for a short time and then forgot about it. Trying to find great games that keep them entertain for month is sometime tricky!

STAR CHARTS for children: a fun way to learn the value of work and be rewarded for good behaviour

The majority of us parents have tried start charts one day or the other. There is no need to claim the benefits of it. Start charts are great in motivating children. The problem I always have with Star Charts is that they are effective in the short term and with 3 kids it is sometimes hard to keep up with it.

Escape the Museum: Kids Adventure Games

Just tried another really great example of kids adventure games called: Escape the Museum and would highly recommend it. With Escape the Museum your kids will not only need to find objects but also put them together. For example, when they find a torch, to make it work, they need to find batteries and a bulb to get it to light. Another example is to find an electrical drill, then the charger but before they can use it they first have to find a way to charge it. The story is realistic, entertaining and captivating. The pictures are great, colourful and lively, it even shakes!  The music is well chosen and in line with the story. Puzzles are smart and clever.
