The 39 Clues is a fantastic, exciting and challenging reading game that will lead children 8-12 through an amazing worldwide scavenger hunt game. The 39 Clues is unique. It is an adventure, a book, an online scavenger hunt game as well as a reading game, a card collecting game and might be the next big thing after Harry Potter, once the film, probably directed by Steven Spielberg, will come out. The 39 Clues will stimulate and encourage children's reading. Turning reading into an interactive scavenger hunt game will thrill kids, parents and grandparents.

NASA Education is launching a new educational website: SPACESUITS AND SPACEWALKS, a great site that will allow children to discover the wonders of space.
The site features information about:
Spacesuits : learn all about the different parts of a spacesuit via an interactive experience. Each click will give children information regarding the name and function of each part of the suit. Children will also have a chance to watch several videos on Spacesuits including how they might look like in the future and how they looked like in the past. Other videos include brain bites and an interesting one on how you can learn how to make a "hard move" in space. The site contains a lot of information as well as many space related activities that will fascinate anyone interested by Space expeditions.

Fun Educational Games should not always be school related. It is not because a game does not bear the label Math, Reading, Learning that you have to turn your back. Video or computer games can be educational in many different ways.
Take for example adventure games . These games are educational in the sense that they give your kids a story with beginning and ending points. In order to go from the beginning to the end children need to solve puzzles, uncover clues and mysteries. They need to use their imagination, logic and thinking in order to move on in the game. Adventure does not always mean action, fights and battles.
Here is a very good series called the Virtual Villagers. Virtual Villagers is composed of 3 sequences.
